Get Involved With the Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce!

The Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce oversees three permanent/standing committees, including:

Chamber Ambassador Committee

CHAIR: Aubreyanne Ochs, WellSpan Health

The Hanover Chamber Ambassador Committee is an enthusiastic volunteer group that helps welcome new members, supports Chamber events, and strengthens connections throughout our business community. Ambassadors serve as outgoing representatives of the Chamber by helping members get engaged, encouraging participation, and promoting Chamber programs, events, and opportunities. They play an active role at ribbon cuttings, mixers, and other Chamber gatherings, helping to create a positive experience for members and guests. Through their energy and involvement, Ambassadors help build relationships, increase member engagement, and support the continued growth of the Chamber.

Workforce Committee

CHAIR: Drew Little, Conewago Valley SD,

The Workforce Committee brings together employers and school district representatives to strengthen the region’s talent pipeline and connect students with real opportunities in our business community. Working in support of the Chamber’s career-ready workforce efforts, the committee helps create and highlight pathways for apprenticeships, job shadowing, internships, mentorships, and other hands-on experiences that introduce students to local careers and prepare them for success after graduation.

Government Affairs Committee

CHAIR: Clair Weigle, Ream Printing Company, Inc.

The Government Affairs Committee helps strengthen relationships between Chamber members and elected officials while serving as a connection point between local, county, state, and federal levels of government. The committee plays an active role in organizing legislative events such as our Legislative Luncheons and provides insight and feedback to the Board on key policy issues affecting our business community. Through these efforts, the committee helps ensure the Chamber remains informed, engaged, and prepared to take a leadership role on legislative matters that impact the region.
