Chamber President Gary Laird to Participate in Career Ready PA Coalition

In April, Chamber President Gary Laird will be participating in the Career Ready PA Coalition Kick-off at Dixon University Center in Harrisburg.

The Pennsylvania Department of Education Career Ready PA Coalition Kick-off will bring together education and workforce champions from across the state and provide strategic opportunities to advance career pathways for all learners. Participants include regional stakeholders from education, advocacy and non-profit organizations, business and industry, STEM Ecosystems, workforce, military, libraries, and state and local government agencies.

Laird will be representing Region 9 as a stakeholder to finalize a statewide mission and vision for the Career Ready PA Coalition, identify a statewide priority for career readiness, and identify a regional priority for career readiness.
