Welcome to Hanover, Pennsylvania

Take a walk through scenic Downtown Hanover and immerse yourself in the town's history, nostalgia and charm. Voluptuous trees and mid-1800 homes line the downtown streets. Each of the four main roads that connect to the Square are named after the town to which they lead. Quaint boutiques, unique eateries and Civil War interpretive wayside markers combine for a unique downtown experience.

In addition to its picturesque scenery, Hanover sits on some of the richest soil in the state and is the gateway to several major interstate highways, ports, airports and railways, as well as the Pennsylvania Turnpike and the Baltimore Beltway. In fact, just 45 miles southeast is Baltimore, Maryland; 89 miles south is Washington, D.C.; and 129 miles east is Philadelphia.
